Day 02: Yangon – Putao
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel and then drive to Yangon Domestic Airport for your morning flight to Putao. Upon arrival in Putao, transfer to your guest house. Located in the northern part of Myitkyina, the capital city of Kachin State, Putao offers a cool climate year-round with snow-capped mountains and a diverse range of ethnic minority tribes. It serves as an excellent base for adventurous trekking activities and is the gateway to Mt. Khakhaborazi (5889 meters), the highest peak in Myanmar and Southeast Asia.Experience the warmth and hospitality of the friendly hill tribe people as they gather at the local market to sell their goods. Day 03: Putao – Machanbaw – Mulashidi – Putao
In the early morning, take a stroll to Putao market where you can immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere and encounter local ethnic tribes selling their wares. After enjoying breakfast, embark on a journey to Machanbaw village, home to the Rawan people.Visit the picturesque Mali Kha River and cross the Mali Kha suspension bridge, known for its scenic views. Proceed to “Stone Dragon” Park, a natural rock formation resembling a giant snake-dragon, just a 20-minute walk from the village.Continue your exploration to Mulashidi Village, inhabited by the Lisu people. Day 08: Myitkyina – Yangon
