Day 01: Arrival Yangon

Upon arrival at Yangon International Airport, our friendly local guide will greet you with a welcome sign and take you to your hotel for check-in.We’ll start our tour with a visit to the National Museum to see fascinating exhibits, including the impressive 8-meter-high Lion Throne(Sihasana Palin) of King Thibaw Min, the last Burmese king.Then, we’ll drive through vibrant Chinatown and the Indian quarter, admiring the colonial-style buildings mixed with the city’s modern charm. We’ll make a stop at the iconic Sule Pagoda and City Hall.Next, we’ll explore Bogyoke (Scott) Market, renowned for its Burmese handicrafts collection.As the day winds down, we’ll witness a mesmerizing sunset at the majestic Shwedagon Pagoda, the spiritual heart of Myanmar.Afterward, we’ll return to your hotel for an overnight stay. Lunch and dinner will be provided at local restaurants.

 

Day 02: Yangon – Hpa An

After breakfast at the hotel, we’ll embark on a scenic journey by land to Hpa An, the capital of Karen State. The drive takes around 5 hours, during which you’ll be treated to breathtaking views of the countryside.Along the way, we’ll make stops at various attractions, including the BayinNyi Cave, home to several Buddha images. We’ll also visit the Sadan Cave and Kawgun Cave, both cultural treasures dating back to the 7th century, adorned with numerous Buddha images and intricate wall carvings.Continuing our journey, we’ll cross the Thanlwin River via a picturesque bridge before arriving in Hpa An. Here, we’ll check into our hotel and spend the night.

 

Day 03: Pha An

After breakfast at the hotel, we’ll head to Kyauk-KaLat Pagoda, a stunning sight with a golden stupa perched atop a rock formation on a small island in the middle of a lake. Surrounded by Karst mountains and lush cultivated land, it’s a picturesque spot. Next, we’ll visit Lumbini Garden, where thousands of Buddha images await at the base of Mt. Zwegabin. It’s a serene setting, offering the natural beauty of Hpa An and is one of Karen State’s highlights.Finally, we’ll enjoy the sunset at Shwe Yin Myaw Pagoda, which offers a beautiful view of the famous Thanlwin River. We’ll spend the night at a hotel in Hpa An, soaking in the beauty of the surroundings.

 

Day 04: Pha An – Mawlamyaing

After breakfast, we’ll drive to MawLaMyaing (about 1 hour). We’ll visit Zegyi Market, then check into our hotel. Later, we’ll see KyaikKhaMi Pagoda and relax at SetSe Beach. We’ll spend the night in Mawlamyaing.

 

Day 05: MawLaMyaing – ThanByuZayat–Kyaikhtiyo

After breakfast at the hotel, we’ll head to Shampoo Island and take a boat to explore nearby caves. Then, we’ll journey to Thanbyuzayat to visit the Thailand-Burma Railway, famously known as the Death Railway, built during World War II . Afterward, we’ll continue our trip to Kyaikhtiyo and stay overnight at a hotel in Kin Pun ‘base camp’.

 

Day 06: Kyaikhtiyo (Golden Rock) – Bago – Yagon

After breakfast, we’ll journey to Kyaikhtiyo Pagoda, also known as the Golden Rock Pagoda, situated 1180 meters above sea level. We’ll take a local open truck or bus, enjoying the scenic views and warm hospitality along the 45-minute drive up the mountain.At the Golden Rock, marvel at the breathtaking sight of the pagoda delicately balanced on a projecting tabular rock, where the Hair relic of Buddha is enshrined. On our way back to Yangon, we’ll visit Kyaik Pun Pagoda, also known as Lay Myat Hnar Paya, featuring four giant Buddha images, Hinthagone Pagoda, and the reclining Shwe-Tha-Lyaung Buddha in Bago.We’ll return to Yangon for an overnight stay at the hotel.

 

Day 07: Departure Yangon

Have breakfast at hotel and free time till you are transferred to Yangon International Airport for departure.
